Nasticism, not Pacifism

Sick.

Tired.

Work is cool though. I can't say that I see myself still doing this in 10 years, but at least by then I'll have the means to go after something else. I miss culture. The one thing missing from most of the people I work with is a love of culture. Maybe I just can't pick up on it. No doubt I don't telegraph my interests very well, but usually I just suprise myself with how uninformed everybody is. Shrunken heads in Voodoo? I mean, I don't expect everyone to know everything about foreign cultures and religions, but to purposefully express your ignorance as knowledge...that bores me. At least I admit when I don't know shit.

A vision, a dream, a life anew

In sleep lies true Adventure.

I stride across golden sands beneath an unrelenting sky. The mountains lie ahead. I am an Arabian Prince and I seek Prometheus to end his pain and retrieve his knowledge.

But a whirlwind approaches. A sand devil. A djinn from beyond the horizon?
No, this wind is odder than even that. At arms length it stops...waits...watches? What mysteries does it hold?

It is Louis Pasteur. His mechanical wig fitter has malfunctioned, whirring its way across the seas and sands with the Pasteurizer in tow. In return for my help in guiding him back home, he will offer his assistance in finding Prometheus.

And then I woke up. Only covers above me and a mattres below.

Boredom without a beat

Boredom doesn't even describe it anymore. I need to get started and get on with things. God help me if I can't find a good recreational activity by the end of the month. I might have to take up knitting, which I would very much like to do except I'm not much for the threading arts.

Ahh, I'll just go watch the end of 2001 and dream of the new age.

Then I'll watch Oldboy and see if I can maintain my faith in humanity.

Omen IV (yes 4) is also on the docket, although I can't imagine it being any good.

Ho-hum. I might still have some Disney laying around. (Been ages since I've seen Sleeping Beauty)

How's that for the New World Order. Straight up, no chaser.
